Frequently asked questions
How many dogs can you care for daily?
We are licensed by Cambridgeshire County Council to care for up to 35 dogs per day. Currently, we average around 20 dogs daily.
Do you take dogs for walks?
The answer is no. All our clients' dogs stay on site for safety reasons. Your dog will receive plenty of physical and mental stimulation throughout the day. We also encourage downtime 3-4 times a day.
Do you feed our dogs?
If your dog needs breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You are more than welcome to bring it in a tub or bag for us to feed at the requested time. All our treats used here are grain-free and free from chicken and beef, as we need to cater for everyone.
When are your business hours?
Our business hours are from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday. You can drop off and pick up your dog anytime during these hours.
What measures do you take to keep dogs comfortable in extreme weather?
To keep dogs comfortable, we have air conditioning, water play, and cooling mats for hot days. In colder months, we provide heating and extra blankets. If it rains, we supply coats or use those provided by clients.
Do dogs need to attend daycare before boarding?
Yes, your dog needs to attend daycare before boarding. This helps us get to know your dog and allows them to become familiar with our team and routine. During boarding, dogs join daycare activities from Monday to Friday and enjoy family outings or field trips on weekends.
Does my dog have to be child friendly?
All dogs that come through my daycare must be child-friendly. This is a family business, after all, so my children and the children of staff come during the school holidays. If boarding is required, they also have to be child-friendly.
How do you manage dogs of different sizes at your facility?
Generally, all dogs interact together and get along well, which we assess during the Meet & Greet. However, if needed, we can separate dogs using our two dog rooms and internal fencing to ensure everyone's safety.
